Manufacturing facility standards.
Quality is owned at two levels here: the facility's quality management system, and Essen's own inspection criteria layered on top of it. Neither one is a badge — both are checkable.
Facility standards
Our production facilities in Taiwan operate under ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems. Where a rated label construction is required, UL 969-recognized constructions are quoted.
All electronic assembly is performed to IPC-A-610 Class 2 acceptability standards.
Certificates on request: facility certificates are provided during vendor qualification for the specific production line assigned to your project — you see the actual certificate for the actual line, not a generic badge on a website.
Essen's own inspection layer
The facility runs its QMS; we run ours on top of it, per project.
Go/No-Go functional checklist
Agreed per project, in writing, before production. Every unit ships against it.
IQC on sourced components
Incoming inspection against the locked BOM — the substituted adhesive or "same-same" dome gets caught at the door.
OQC before shipment
Outgoing inspection on AQL sampling; the report ships with the goods.
Change control
Materials locked by brand and part number; no process or component change without written notice.
Audit us. Seriously.
Visits and audits are welcome — of Essen and of the production facilities assigned to your program. Confidence in an audit is the realest trust signal a supplier can offer.
